We are on board the Sky Viking and enjoying a little nap! We spent the day sightseeing even though we were a bit weary. Amsterdam is an exciting city and a great place to people watch. The weather is beautiful and it is a Saturday so everyone was out and about. And they love their bicycles! We really had to be careful or we would get run over. I am a little paranoid! We visited the Anne Frank Huis standing in line for an hour to get in. Grandchildren, you must read her diary. We rode the cable cars or electric trams for a while and visited a Dutch Reformed Church called Westerkerk. We have a welcome reception tonight. Our cabin is small but very comfortable and home for 2 weeks. The ship/boat is small too, with only 150 passengers. Have a blessed sabbath--
Hi Nancy....We are exercise buddies of Lou's who loves to cruise. We are looking forward to your river cruise as we would like to do one. We were in Amsterdam last spring and we too were amazed at all the bikes. I was more worried about them than the cars.
